After a summer of organizing artists of all media and purpose, I am inspired by a new understanding of process and am back in my studio!
Living and working in Durango Colorado, I am influenced by the differences in color, smell, and feelings with each changing season. Allowing myself to observe movement and study culture -past and present- I thread together concept, color and material to form artwork influenced by traditional technique and contemporary life. Working largly with the connotations attached to words, ideas and images, my artwork addresses perspective.
